Nivalantie 101, Haapavesi
There is a city-run winter swimming spot at Kylpyläsaari.
Renting a sauna at Kylpyläsaari Tourism is also possible.
The ice swimming season is 2.11.-30.4.2022, season fee 50 € (25 autumn +25 spring). Door code is used on weekdays and weekends from 06:00 to 21:00.
The locker room and gate code can be obtained for the seasonal fee.

In the end of Huikarinniemi at Kirkkojärvi lake there is a quiet beach on the edge of Askonlahti.
Close by the bird tower, marina and beautiful beach trail to Paakkila. It is worth visiting.

Turn from Kärsämäentie to Kokkolahdentie and drive straight for about 600m and turn left. Public beach will be at the end of the road.
There is good boat ramp as well.
